Theirs is one of the friendships that we “ship” the most among those of Hollywood stars. Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone met for dinner on the occasion of International Friendship Day, celebrated on Saturday 30 July, and it is always a pleasure to see them together.

The two actresses met for dinner at the Chinese restaurant Hwa Yuan Restaurant's Chef Tang in New York City. Their visit was documented by a snapshot posted on the club's Instagram profile, which you can see here, accompanied by this caption: “Hwa Yuan was thrilled to host Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence for dinner! Chef Tang and the Tang family are huge fans of theirs and are honored that they are also fans of our restaurant and our food. Emma and Jennifer, we hope you have fun and come back soon! ”.

In the photo Jennifer and Emma appear very smiling and seem to have had a lot of fun. For the evening, the two actresses opted for a casual look: Lawrence went out in a black cropped top and a pair of jeans, with a striped shirt over it, while Stone wore a black top and dress.

Are you wondering how their friendship was born? The "accomplice" was a mutual friend of theirs: Woody Harrelson. The actor worked with Jennifer in the Hunger Games saga and with Emma in the Zombieland saga.

In this regard, Lawrence said: “Emma wrote to me that she got my number from Woody. I replied: 'Fanc ## o!' And since then we have become really good friends ”. Then they started texting each other for a year before meeting in person: "I feel like it's our version of The Pages of Our Lives - 365 texts".

Jennifer also revealed that she was initially jealous of her colleague: “Emma is fantastic. If I hadn't been her biggest fan I would have broken her knees like Tonya Harding! […] I love my job, I don't really know what I would do without acting, and if there is someone who feels the same things as I do, it makes sense to get closer. It always depends on the person in front of you, but Emma is so normal and adorable ”.

Stone has also felt envious of Lawrence in the past: “There was definitely a time, in the beginning, where I was like, 'Oh my God, my ego is broken, she's so good and lively and talented. , I am ruined and will never work again '. Then I calmed down, and I remembered that we are completely different and that there is room for everyone ".

In an interview with W Magazine, Emma Stone also revealed about the beginnings of their friendship: “Jennifer and I both had the same stalker, John the Orchestra Guy. He wrote to both of them and said things like: 'I'm late to go to the stage. Can you warm up the orchestra? 'He was not really a stalker. He must have worked in studios or something, because he had a lot of numbers of people. Jen and I wrote for a year before we actually met. As she was driving to my house, she thought, 'Oh, my God, what if it's John the Orchestra Guy?' And I thought, 'Oh my God, what if it's John the Orchestra Guy?' So Jen calls me and says, 'I just want to make sure you're not John the Orchestra Guy.' Obviously I wasn't and so we met. It's our lovely love story ”.

The two have always shown great mutual support and Stone did not fail to be present at Jennifer Lawrence's wedding with Cooke Maroney.
